Choose the alnico 2 magnet for low-end tone and smoother treble, alnico 3 for a touch more high-end, alnico 4 magnet for more bite and even low-end, the alnico 5 that rings out and has moderate lows, ceramic bar for extended midrange and rounded highs, or triple ceramic ($10 up-charge) for more volume and midrange. All pickups are wax potted to reduce microphonic squeal unless ordered otherwise.
