This rippin' new pickup is based on the 1970's Ibanez Super 70 model that is burning up the humbucker market. Along with certain signature sounds from 70's recordings, this pickup brings it's own distinct, powerful tone and places it in your hands. With the trademark PAF output/alnico 8 magnet combination, we have tweaked some of the specs to maximize the pickups potential. With juicy mids and alnico clarity, the Ultra 7T will change the way you hear guitar pickups.

I wanted to create something hot. Really hot. This is as hot as it gets, the dB signature (dB as in decibel). Funny things happen with really hot pickups.......the output volume tops out but the eq shifts over to a more compressed midrange with tons of saturation. Now you'd think with more compressed midrange things would get muddy...???.... Not true here because my handwound pickups have more clarity than your standard humbucker giving the dB a nicely focused eq across all frequencies. Oh, and one more thing...this pickup gets pinch hamonics all over the place. Imagine this pickup in your Les Paul or Stratocaster through a Marshall or Boogie and get in touch with your inner metal head.
